Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.

Disconnect ground line of auxiliary battery.

Disconnect ground on additional battery for park pawl emergency shift.

Remove seat cushion padding from front passenger bench seat.

Disconnect electrical connector (1).

 Unlock the electrical connection (1).

Detach electrical connector (2) from electrical connector (1).

 To do this, release catch hooks (3) and pull electrical connector (2) towards the rear.

Remove the electrical wiring harness (4).

 To do this, detach retaining clips (5) and brackets (6).

 Model 907, 910 with code H15 (Seat heating for front passenger)
To do this, detach retaining clips (5) and cable ties from electrical wiring harness (4).

 Model 907, 910 with code H15 (Seat heating for front passenger)
Installation: Replace retaining clips (5) of electrical wiring harness (4) and cable ties.

 Installation: Check retaining clips (5) and brackets (6) for damage.

 Clip remover

If the retaining clips (5) or the brackets (6) are damaged,



Replace retaining clips (5) or brackets (6).

Remove seat occupancy recognition (7).

 To do this, release catch hooks (8).

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.

If the seat occupancy recognition (7) was replaced.



Connect/disconnect diagnostic unit
