Remove/install

Move driver or front passenger seat all the way to the rear and adjust upwards

Unclip cover (10) from belt buckle (1)

Disconnect front passenger seat electrical connector (3)

When removing seat belt buckle (1) from front passenger seat.

Disconnect driver seat electrical connector (2)

When removing seat belt buckle (1) from driver seat.

Push catch hooks (arrows A) back using two suitable screwdrivers (5) and unclip driver belt buckle restraint system switch connector (4) from coupling housing (7) of driver seat electrical connector (2)

When removing seat belt buckle (1) from driver seat.

Push catch hooks (arrows A) back using two suitable screwdrivers (5) and unclip front passenger belt buckle restraint system switch connector (6) from coupling housing (7) of front passenger seat electrical connector (3)

When removing seat belt buckle (1) from front passenger seat.

Open cable ties (arrows B), remove electrical line (8) from the underside of the seat cushion of the driver seat, and expose up to the belt buckle (1)

When removing seat belt buckle (1) from driver seat.

Installation:
Route electrical line (8) in a way that the driver seat can be adjusted without restrictions.
Otherwise, shearing off or crushing of the electrical line (8) may occur.

Open cable ties (arrows B), remove electrical line (8) from the underside of the seat cushion of the front passenger seat, and expose up to the belt buckle (1)

Installation:
Route electrical line (8) in a way that the front passenger seat can be adjusted without restrictions.
Otherwise, shearing off or crushing of the electrical line (8) may occur.

Remove screw (9)

Screw/bolt, seat belt buckle to seat frame

Remove seat belt buckle (1)

Observe correct installation position of belt buckle (1).

Install in the reverse order

Perform function test of the seat belt buckle (1)
