Remove/install

Disconnect electrical connector (1).

Unlock the electrical connection (1).

Remove electrical wiring harness (2).

To do so, release electrical wiring harness (2) from retaining clip (4) and unclip retaining clip (3).

Installation: Check retaining clips (3, 4) for damage.

If retaining clips (3, 4) are damaged,

Replace retaining clips (3, 4).

Remove seat belt buckle (5).

Removal: Mark assembly position of seat belt buckle (5).

To do so, remove screw (6).

Installation: Observe marking indicating assembly position of seat belt buckle (5) and use thread locking agent.

Install in the reverse order.

Check

Perform function check on seat belt buckle (5).
