 Caution

Risk of injury. Injury may result when the tension in the spring in the automatic belt retractor is released.

Remove/install

Remove rear bench seat.

Remove cover (1).

 Here, release catch hooks through openings using a suitable tool.

Remove seat belt end fitting (2).

 For this, remove the screw (3).

 Bolt, belt end fitting to C-pillar

Detach cover (4).

Remove seat belt guide (5).

 To do so, remove screw (6).

 Bolt, belt guide to C-pillar

Remove seat belt retractor (7) with seat belt.

 Installation:
Make sure seat belt is not twisted when installed.
Otherwise, there will be seat belt malfunctions.

 To do so, unscrew screw (8) and remove seat belt retractor (7) with seat belt upward.

 Screw/bolt, belt retractor to C-pillar

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Carry out function check of seat belt retractor (7) with seat belt.
