Remove/install

Move respective front seat completely rearward and upward.

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove bolt (2).

Loosen outer trim (1) at front (arrows) on front seat until the electrical connector (3) is accessible.

 Installation: Ensure that the outer trim (1) at front is correctly seated at front seat.

Release seat heating switch (4) from outer trim (1).

 Installation: Ensure that the seat heating switch (4) is in the correct installation position in the outer trim (1).

Unclip electrical connector (3) from outer trim (1) upwards.

 Installation: Make sure that the electrical connector (3) is correctly seated at the outer trim (1).

Disconnect electrical connector (3) and remove seat heating switch (4).

 The seat heater switch (4) is only available with the outer trim (1).

If the seat heater switch (4) is replaced:



Replace outer trim (1).

Model 470, 471 except code SF1 (Electrically adjustable driver's seat), except code SF2 (Electrically adjustable front passenger seat)

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Perform function test on electrical seat heating on respective front seat.
