Remove/install

Connect vehicle diagnosis system and perform commissioning of front multicontour seat control unit (N32/15, N32/16).

When replacing front multicontour seat control unit (N32/15, N32/16).



Remove seat backrest trim.

Model 257

except code 555 (AMG Performance seats)

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).

Disconnect electrical connectors (2) at front multicontour seat control unit (N32/15, N32/16).

Unhook electrical wiring harnesses (3, 4) from holders on front multicontour seat control unit (N32/15, N32/16).

Release front multicontour seat control unit (N32/15, N32/16) at catch hooks (arrows B).

Carefully pull front multicontour seat control unit (N32/15, N32/16) upwards and lift pneumatic lines (1) carefully over holders (arrows A).


Make sure that the pneumatic lines (1) do not kink.
Otherwise, the pneumatic lines (1) may start to leak.

Release and disconnect pneumatic lines (1) using a suitable tool.

 The pneumatic lines (1) are color coded.

Remove front multicontour seat control unit (N32/15, N32/16).

Install in the reverse order
