Remove passenger bench seat or folding outer seat and place passenger bench seat on backrest or folding outer seat on left side

Nut, guide pin to front seat base

Remove pilot bushing (6)

Remove guide pin (3) with pilot bushing (4)

Installation: Ensure correct alignment of the guide pin (3).
Grease guide pin (3).

Long-life grease

Remove front seat base (1) from seat frame (2) and remove from spring (7)

When removing front seat base (1) from passenger bench seat.

Installation: Ensure that spring (7) is correctly seated.
When replacing front seat base (1) fit new grab handle (9) and new circlip (8).

Release retainer at pneumatic spring (12) and remove pneumatic spring (12) from front seat base (1)

MODEL 447.7 with CODE U71 (3-passenger bench seat, 1st seat row in rear with folding outer seat)
When removing the front seat base (1) from the folding outer seat.


Do not remove retainer.
Otherwise, retainer will overstretch.

Installation: Grease ball head of pneumatic spring (12).
Clip in retainer on ball head of front seat base (1).

Remove circlip (11)

MODEL 447.7 with CODE U71 (3-passenger bench seat, 1st seat row in rear with folding outer seat)
When removing the front seat base (1) from the folding outer seat.

Remove bar (10) of rear seat base (13) from front seat base (1) and remove front seat base (1)

MODEL 447.7 with CODE U71 (3-passenger bench seat, 1st seat row in rear with folding outer seat)
When removing the front seat base (1) from the folding outer seat.

Installation: Fit new grab handle (9) when replacing front seat base (1).
