Remove/install

Remove passenger seat.

Remove front trim from seat frame.

Remove left trim (9) from seat frame.

Remove seat cushion.

Place passenger seat on right side for disassembly.

Disconnect electrical connector (19).

Remove retaining clips (21) and remove electrical wiring harness (20) from seat bases (1).

Remove retaining clip (23) and remove helix cable (22) from seat bases (1).

Remove spring (6).

Remove retaining washer (5).

Remove bar (4) from seat bases (1).

Operate release lever (7) and remove screws (2).

Remove nut (10) and remove screw.

 Through-bolt, mounting console to backrest frame

Remove screw (14) and remove seat belt end fitting (11).

 Note the assembly position of belt end fitting (11).

Remove nut (12) and remove bracket (13).

 Note the assembly position of bracket (13).

Remove screw (15).

Remove nut (16).

 Nut, guide pin to rear seat base

Remove screw (17).

 Screw/bolt, mounting console to cross strut

Remove mounting support (8).

 Installation: Ensure that bracket (29) is positioned correctly on the mounting support (8).

Twist seat bases (1) slightly, remove bar (3) from seat bases (1) and remove seat bases (1).

Attach new handles to release levers (7) of new seat bases (1).

If the seat bases (1) are replaced.

Remove the bracket (24).

If the seat bases (1) are replaced.

Remove screw (25) and remove spring element consisting of link rod (26), mount (27), spring (28), bracket (29) and carrier (30).

If the seat bases (1) are replaced.

Install in the reverse order.
