Remove/install

Remove passenger seat bench in 2nd row

Put down passenger bench seat, 2nd row on a workbench with the seat frame facing downwards


Do not put passenger bench seat, 2nd row down onto the backrest.
Otherwise the backrest may be soiled or damaged.

 Aid of helper required.

Secure passenger bench seat, 2nd row to workbench with a tensioning strap

Remove paneling at left from seat frame (4) of passenger bench seat, 2nd row

Remove paneling at right from seat frame (4) of passenger bench seat, 2nd row

 Observe assembly position of belt end fittings (5) and belt buckle (6).

Unhook edge stripping (2, 8) at seat frame (4)

 Installation: Check seating of the mounting clamps in the edge stripping (2, 8).

 Extraction hook

If the mounting clamps remain on the seat frame (4) when removing the edge stripping (2, 8):



Remove mounting clamps from seat frame (4) and insert into the edge stripping (2, 8).

Unhook edge stripping (7) from seat frame (4)

 Installation: Check seating of mounting clamps in the edge stripping (7).

If the mounting clamps remain on the seat frame (4) when removing the edge stripping (7):

Remove mounting clamps from seat frame (4) and insert into the edge stripping (7).

Press seat cushion padding (1) down in front area and remove staple wire (9) from front of seat frame (4)

Raise seat cushion padding (1) at seat frame (4) and unhook edge stripping (10, 11)
