| Remove/install | ||
1 | Move passenger seat (1) to "Easy Entry position" using button (2) at switch for electrical seat adjustment. | ||
2 | Pull release lever (3) upward and move passenger seat (1) rearward in a longitudinal direction until the socket (4) is accessible at vehicle floor. | ||
3 | Unclip cover (5) from socket (4) and remove. | ||
4 | Expose and disconnect electrical connector (7). | Installation: Ensure that electrical connector (7) is seated correctly in socket (4). | |
5 | Release one of the two release levers (8), fold passenger seat (1) forward and hold it with aid of an assistant. | ||
6 | Hook helix cable (6) in mount (arrow) at passenger seat (1). | ||
7.1 | Use suitable screwdriver (11) to move lock/release catch (9) on left and right seat base (10) toward rear in direction of arrow. | Model 448.8 | |
Installation: Ensure correct locking of the seat bases (10). | |||
7.2 | Move locking/unlocking lever (12) on left and right seat base (10) upwards. | Model 447.8 | |
8 | Remove passenger seat (1) with aid of an assistant. | Installation: | |
9 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

10 | Check all electrical functions of the passenger seat (1). |
