Remove

Remove pivot bearing of right seat backrest with right rear seat backrest inclination switch.

 The right rear seat backrest inclination switch can remain on the pivot bearing.

Remove head restraint guides.

Remove cover below head restraint.

Unhook cover (1) all way around from seat backrest frame.

Guide electrical wiring harness of seat heating through cover (1).

Remove seat backrest frame.

Pull cover (1) over seat backrest padding (2).

Release staple wires (3) at attachment points (arrows).

Remove cover (1) from seat backrest padding (2).



Install

Align cover (1) over seat backrest padding (2) so that the seams are seated in the cutouts of the seat backrest padding (2).

Fasten staple wires (3) at attachment points (arrows).

Pull cover (1) over seat backrest padding (2).

Place seat backrest frame onto seat backrest padding (2) and align.

Hook-in cover (1) all way round on seat backrest frame.
