Remove screw/bolt (2).

 Bolt, pivot bearing for seat backrest to seat backrest

Remove head restraint guides.

Unclip cover (4).

Unclip lock cover (7).

Unclip cover (5) all way round right seat backrest.

 Installation: Hook cover (5) to corners first and press down when completely engaged.

 Dismantling tool

Remove cover (5) with padding.

Detach cover (5) from padding far enough until upholstery staples are accessible.

Cut upholstery staples and remove remaining pieces from padding.


Remove the pieces of the upholstery staples carefully.
Otherwise the padding and cover (5) will be damaged.

 Installation: Replace upholstery staples.

Remove screw (20).

 Bolt, pivot bearing for seat backrest to seat backrest

Unclip cover (25) all way round left combination backrests.

 Installation: Hook cover (25) to corners first and press down when completely engaged.

Detach cover (25) from padding (11) far enough until upholstery staples (10) are accessible.

Cut upholstery staples (10) and remove remaining pieces from padding (11).


Remove the pieces of the upholstery staples (10) carefully.
Otherwise the padding (11) and cover (25) will be damaged.

 Installation: Replace upholstery staples (10).

 Padding clip pliers

Pull cover (25) off padding (11).

Install in the reverse order.
