1 | Push actuator on left head restraint guide (2) in direction of arrow (arrow A) and pull head restraint (1) upwards | ||
2 | Remove head restraint (1) | If no retainer is fitted to the left head restraint guide (2). | |
3 | Insert unlocking tool (3), as shown, between left head restraint guide (2) and head restraint (1) | If a retainer is fitted to the left head restraint guide (2). | |

4 | Push unlocking tool (3) in direction of arrow (arrow B), push actuator at left head restraint guide (2) in direction of arrow (arrow A) and remove head restraint (1) upwards together with the unlocking tool (3) | If a retainer is fitted to the left head restraint guide (2). | |
