2 Circlip

3 Locking clip

 	Remove/install
1	Completely open Vario roof
2	Remove seat-back lining from left or right front seat backrest		AR91.10-P-1910R
3	Remove circlip (2)
4	Remove locking clips (3)	 Installation: Ensure locking clip (3) is securely seated.
5	Remove retaining clip (4) and open bracket (5)
6	Separate electrical connectors (6)
7	Move backrest to rear
8	Remove head restraint (1) with electrical wiring harness (7) from the backrest	 Installation: To route the electrical wiring harness (7) in the backrest, fix in place the plugs of the electrical connectors (6) as shown using a thin piece of adhesive tape (8). Ensure that the strut (9) in the mount on the head restraint up/down motor (M27m4, M28m4) is clipped in (arrow).
9	Install in the reverse order
