If the backrest frame (1) is replaced.

If the backrest frame (1) is not replaced, but only removed.

Disconnect electrical connection (3)

Remove all electrical lines from backrest frame (1)


Observe installation position of electric leads
Otherwise, erroneously routed electrical lines could become trapped when the backrest is adjusted.

 The number of electrical lines varies depending on the equipment installed.

Remove screw/bolts (7)

 Backrest to seat frame

Remove backrest frame (1) from seat frame (2)

Drill out rivet (9) and remove armrest adapter (10) from backrest frame (1)

If the backrest frame (1) is replaced.

General information on riveting

 Replace rivets (9).

Hand riveter

Detach wire frame (8) from backrest frame (1) and remove

If the backrest frame (1) is replaced.

Remove mounting bracket for tablet PC bracket

If the backrest frame (1) is replaced.
