Remove head restraint guides from front passenger bench seat

Push backrest padding (1) to one side and unhook edge stripping (2)

Unscrew nut (4)

 Screw/bolt, seat belt buckle to front passenger bench seat

Remove belt end fitting (5)

Remove bracket (6) from backrest padding (1)

 Installation: Check bracket (6) for damage.

For damage



Replace bracket (6)

Remove screw/bolt (7) and remove cover (8)

Unhook backrest padding (1) in area of guide for seat belt from brackets (arrows)

Open zipper (9) at backrest padding (1)

 Installation: If the zipper (9) does not have a pull tab, the zipper (9) must be closed using  pliers.

Remove backrest padding (1) with padding (3) from backrest frame

 Installation: Ensure that padding (3) and backrest padding (1) are seated correctly.

Install in the reverse order

 Seat belts/emergency tensioning retractors
