Remove/install

Move backrest into upright position

Retract head restraint in all the way

Move steering wheel all the way up and to the front

When removing driver seat.

Move front seat (1) all the way back and to the rear

Remove bolts (2)

 Screw/bolt, seat to seat console

Move front seat (1) all the way to the front

Remove bolts (3)

 Screw/bolt, seat to seat console

Disconnect battery ground line

Disconnect electrical connection (4)

Disconnect electrical connector (6)

with code SF1 (Electrically adjustable luxury driver seat)
with code SF2 (Electrically adjustable co-driver's seat)

Expose electrical wiring harness (5) at front seat (1)

Remove front seat (1) from vehicle

 Helper required.

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check front seat (1) for proper operation

 Scope of function test depends on equipment installed.

Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) with diagnostic system
