Remove/install

Remove paneling on front seat frame of left or right front seat

Remove left and right nut (2) and remove stowage compartment (3) at front seat

Remove pin (6)

Remove wiring harness from seat cushion (1)

 Installation:
Ensure that the wiring harness is correctly routed and attached.
Damage can otherwise occur.

 The number of electrical connectors depends on the equipment installed.

Warm up left and right screw/bolt (4) at seat cushion frame with a suitable tool and remove

 Installation: Bolts (4) must be replaced.

 Bolt, cushion frame to seat frame

Remove seat cushion (1) from front

 Installation:
Ensure that seat cushion (1) is correctly seated in rear guide rails.
Damage can otherwise occur.

Install in the reverse order

Initial startup

Perform weight sensing system (WSS) commissioning
