Remove/install

Remove seat-back lining at left or right backrest

Switch on ignition

Move seat cushion (1) backwards

Move front seat backwards

Switch on ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)

Unclip seat cushion cover (2) from rear of backrest

Unscrew bolt (3)

 Bolt, seat adjustment mechanism to seat backrest

Disconnect electrical connectors (5) from left seat adjustment control unit with memory or right seat adjustment control unit with memory

Disconnect electrical connector of seat occupied and automatic child seat recognition system

When removing seat cushion (1) from front passenger seat.

Pull seat cushion (1) forwards out of guides and put in position

 Installation:
The guides must be aligned.
Damage can otherwise occur.

Remove cable ties (4)

 Installation: Always replace cable ties (4).

Disconnect electrical connector from motor for seat cushion, forward and backward (M27m6 and M28m6)

Remove seat cushion (1) and at the same time lead out the electric wires

14

Install in the reverse order

Initial startup

Perform weight sensing system (WSS) commissioning
