Remove/install

Remove front seat (1).

If cover (6) is removed.

Move front seat (1) to its foremost and upmost position.

If trim (2, 3) is to be removed.

Unclip and remove trim (2) in direction of arrow.

Unhook trim (3) at catch hook (arrow A), catch hooks (arrows B) and catch hook (arrow C).

Release trim (3) from lock (arrow D), remove and set aside with connected electric lines.

Disconnect electrical connector from lumbar support adjustment switch (S109/2, S109/3).

Disconnect electrical connector from seat adjustment operating unit.

Unclip lumbar support adjustment switch (S109/2, S109/3).

Unclip switch for electrical seat adjustment.

When replacing cover (2).

Remove trim (3).

Drill out rivets (5).

 Installation: Replace rivets (5).

Release trim (6) and remove.

Install in the reverse order.
