Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Mask body at transitions (1) with solid adhesive tape

 Removal:
Mask side wall and fender end top at transition to longitudinal member paneling with solid adhesive tape.
Otherwise the paint on the longitudinal member paneling can be damaged during removal.

Lift vehicle with vehicle lift

Remove complete wheel

Detach front section of fender liner up to cutout of suspension strut and fold over toward rear in direction of suspension strut

Remove collar nut (2) and expansion rivet (3) on underfloor paneling (12)

Unscrew bolts (10) from engine compartment paneling (11)

Remove expansion rivet (9) from underfloor paneling (12)

Pull engine compartment paneling (11) downward until longitudinal member paneling is accessible

Remove collar nuts (4) on underfloor paneling (12) along longitudinal member paneling

Turn screw clips (5) 90° and remove

Unclip longitudinal member paneling from the four expansion clips mounts (6) at rear end with assembly wedge (8)

Lift longitudinal member paneling starting at rear over lugs on retaining clips (7), unclip at front and lift longitudinal member paneling.,

 Door must be opened during removal and installation.

 Helper required.

Install in the reverse order
