Remove filler cap

Unscrew bolts from tank recess (2)

The bolt (a) is a dummy bolt, do not unscrew.

Installation: Grease bolts and tighten in criss-cross pattern.

Remove tank flap (1) with tank recess (2) from top downward from tank filler
fitting (5).

Installation: Pull cup seal (6) over tank filler fitting.Ensure that cup seal (6) is seated properly.

Remove tank recess (2) from tank flap (2)

Installation: The sealing profile (3) of the tank recess (2) should contain the circumference of the tank flap (1)

When installing ensure that hole pattern is positioned correctly.

Remove spacer ring (4) from tank recess (2)

Applies only to model 450.4

Install in the reverse order

Check

Check tank flap (1) for proper function by opening and closing.
