Remove

Remove socket cover.

Release paneling (1) of the socket flap from the catch hook (arrow A) and remove.

When installing a new socket recess charger (2).

Unclip fuel filler cap central locking system actuator (M14/10) from the catch hook (arrow B) using a suitable tool and pull out until the electrical connector (3) is accessible.

Disconnect electrical connector (3) and remove fuel filler cap central locking system actuator (M14/10).

5.1

Remove rubber plugs from the release holes (arrows C).

If rubber plugs are installed.

5.2

Drill charger socket recess (2) on the release holes (arrows C) using a drill bit with a diameter of 3 mm.

If no rubber plugs are installed.


Do not drill too low.
Otherwise the catch hooks (5) behind will be damaged.

 The release holes (arrows C) are sealed with rubber plugs during installation.

Press catch hooks (5) downward behind the release holes (arrows C) using the extraction hook (arrow D) and, at the same time, pull charger socket recess (2) out of the side wall.

Pull charger socket recess (2) out of the side wall until the electrical connector (4) of the charging interruption button (S145/2) is accessible.

Disconnect electrical connector (4) and remove socket recess charger (2).

Remove screws (6) and remove charging interruption button (S145/2).

When installing a new socket recess charger (2).



Install

Position charging interruption button (S145/2) and screw in screws (6).

When installing a new socket recess charger (2).

Install rubber plugs on the release holes (arrows C).

When reusing the socket recess charger (2).

Insert socket recess charger (2) at the front into the side wall.

Connect electrical connector (4) to the charging interruption button (S145/2).

Guide electrical connector (3) through the opening in the charger socket recess (2).

Clip charger socket recess (2) into the side wall.

Connect electrical connector (3) to the fuel filler cap central locking system actuator (M14/10).

Clip fuel filler cap central locking system actuator (M14/10) into the charger socket recess (2).

18

Slide on paneling (1) of the socket flap and engage.

When installing a new socket recess charger (2).

Install socket cover.
