Remove/install

Remove trim at side of instrument panel on driver's side.

Remove cover below instrument panel on driver's side.

Remove release handle of hood cable (8).

Remove expansion rivet (5).

Unscrew nuts (6).

Unfasten bracket (1) from A-pillar (7) and guide hood cable (8) through bracket (1).

Unclip retaining clip (9).

 Clip remover

Push lock (10) to the side and remove diagnostic connector (11) from bracket (1).

Pull diagnostic connector (11) upwards out of the diagnostic connector bracket (3) and remove bracket (1).

Remove bolts (2) and remove diagnostic connector bracket (3) from bracket (1).

If bracket (1) is replaced.

Remove spring nut (4) from bracket (1).

If bracket (1) is replaced.

Install in the reverse order
