1 Engine hood

2 Hood hinge

3 Bolts

Remove/install

Open engine hood (1) and raise to vertical position

Remove washer fluid hoses and electric connectors from windshield washer nozzles

Disconnect electrical connector from sun sensor

Unclip both vent grilles from engine hood (1)

Remove electrical lines for washer nozzle heater from engine hood (1)

Guide washer fluid hoses out of engine hood hinge (1)

Unscrew bolts (3) from hood hinges (2)

Secure engine hood (1) with aid of helper to prevent paint damage.

Remove engine hood (1) and lay down on suitable subbase

Install in the reverse order

Adjust engine hood (1)

Repair paint damage on screw heads (3) with suitable touch-up paint pen
