Remove/install

Open hood (1).

Unclip brackets (2).

 Dismantling tool

Remove spray nozzles (3) and place to one side with the spray water hose.

 Push the spray nozzles (3) in the direction of travel first and then swing them out of the hood (1).

Lift retainer (4) with suitable means and pull the pneumatic spring (5) off the mount.

 Helper required.

Unscrew nuts (6) and remove hood (1).

 Installation: Repair bolt heads with touch-up paint pen.

 Helper required.

 Nut, hood hinge to hood

Install in the reverse order.

Adjust

Adjust engine hood (1).
