When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

Open engine hood (1)

Unscrew bolts (2) from engine hood (1)

Before loosening bolts (2) mark installation position.

Installation: Ensure that engine hood (1) fits properly, if necessary:

Remove engine hood (1)

Helper required

Install in the reverse order

Install air intake grate

When replacing engine hood (1) on vehicles up to production date 5.6.05 or on customer request on vehicles as of production date 6.6.05.

Retrofit air inlet grate
