| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove front grille | ||
2 | Partially remove front parts of the fender liner in the front fender in working area | ||
It is not necessary to remove the front sections of the fender liner, only loosen them in the area of the bumper. | |||
3 | Disconnect electrical connector on left front bumper front wiring harness/wiring harness (X26/28) and disconnect | ||
4 | Unclip hose (1) | ||
5 | Remove bolts (2) | ||
6 | Remove bumper | For this purpose unclip bumper front fenders and remove with aid of second person. | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| Check | ||
8 | Check daytime running lamp in bumper for proper function | ||
| Headlamps and exterior lights - function check | ||
On vehicles with CODE L16 (halogen front fog lamp), also check front fog lamp. |
