1 | Disconnect ground lead from battery | Installation: Set timer to current time (see Eberspächer operating instructions). | |

2 | Attach clamp (5) to fuel line | ||
3 | Remove hose clamp (2) on fuel line (1) | Installation: Replace hose clamp. | |
4 | Separate fuel line (1) from union nut (3) | Catch fuel running out in suitable vessel. | |
5 | Unscrew union nut (3) from fuel metering pump (6) | To loosen union nut (3) hold fuel metering pump (6). | |
6 | Remove fuel strainer (4) from fuel metering pump (6) | ||
7 | Install in opposite order |
