Remove/install

Disconnect ground line from on-board electrical system battery.

Remove glove box.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) from air duct segment (2), and remove air duct segment (2).

Release and disconnect electrical connection (3).

Unscrew nuts (4) and place electric lines (5) to one side.


Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.

Installation: Do not swap electric lines (5).

Remove screw/bolts (6).

Remove PTC heater booster (R22/3).


Do not damage disks of PTC heater booster (R22/3).
Otherwise it can impair their function.

Installation: Ensure that PTC heater booster (R22/3) is seated correctly in air conditioner housing (7).

Install in the reverse order.
