No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only.
Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Release rear right underfloor paneling until the stationary heater fuel pump (Y23) is accessible.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) from stationary heater fuel pump (Y23).

Clamp off fuel hoses (2) with clamps.

Detach fuel hoses (2) from stationary heater fuel pump (Y23).

 Collect fuel which runs out in a suitable container.

 Installation: Replace snap clamps.
Make sure that fuel hoses (2) are securely seated and not leaking.

Unscrew nut (3).

Remove stationary heater fuel pump (Y23) with bracket (4).

 Installation: Observe direction of installation of stationary heater fuel pump (Y23).

Remove stationary heater fuel pump (Y23) from bracket (4).

When replacing the stationary heater fuel pump (Y23).

Install in the reverse order.
