Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel and risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel.

No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove

Remove underfloor paneling

Detach plug (1) to fuel metering pump (6)

Release hose clamps (2) on fuel metering pump (6)

Undo collar nut (3) and remove pipe clamp (4) with fuel metering pump (6)

Detach fuel lines

Note any escaping fuel.

Install

Plug on fuel lines

Mount fuel lines to joint to prevent bubbles.

Tighten hose clamps (2) on fuel metering pump (6)

Place pipe clamp (4) around fuel metering pump (6) and plug on rubber-bonded metal bearing (5)

Tighten collar nut (3)

Connect plug (1) to fuel metering pump (6)

11

Check installation position of fuel metering pump (6) and fuel lines

Fit scuff protection to fuel lines at sharp edges.

Perform a function test
