After 1 second the
LED (arrow) illuminates.

Evaluate status of LED (arrow) on STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3), and replace batteries if necessary

Indications:

If the LED (arrow) briefly
illuminates, the batteries are OK.
If the LED (arrow) flashes
(3 sec. intervals), the batteries are almost empty.
If the LED (arrow) flashes
(5 sec. intervals), the batteries are all but spent.
