Remove

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove stowage tray on instrument panel.

Remove lockable center stowage compartment on instrument panel.

Unlock connector socket (2) and remove from Telestart receiver (3).

Strap down antenna (1) and wrap felt tape around it.

The factory-installed antenna (1) remains in the vehicle.

Install

Wrap new antenna (1) with felt tape and fix in place at Telestart receiver (3).

Route new antenna (1) above the steering column and guide through the instrument panel with a suitable pull-through aid.

Route new antenna (1) along instrument panel and fix in place using cable ties.


Observe the correct routing of the new antenna (1).
Otherwise, the antenna (1) may malfunction or noises may be generated when driving.
