Remove/install

Remove air recirculation unit (1) in rear

Remove rear air conditioning refrigerant shutoff valve

Remove clamps (2) and remove cover (3)

 Remove electrical wiring harness at cover (3).

Remove bolts (4)

5

Press air recirculation unit (1) apart using assembly wedge (6) (arrows A)


Only press air recirculation unit (1) apart until evaporator (5) can be removed.
Otherwise damage to the air recirculation unit (1) may occur.

Remove evaporator (5) in direction of arrow

 Installation:
Make sure that the recirculated air housing (1) is pressed far enough apart.
Otherwise the evaporator (5) may be damaged.

 Installation: Ensure that the evaporator (5) is seated correctly in the recirculated air housing (1).

Install in the reverse order
