Remove/install rear air conditioning system operating unit on roof lining

Carefully push spring-loaded catch hooks (2) on the housing (1) forward, using the   clip remover, fold housing (1) at rear downwards and unhook from roof lining.

Disconnect electrical connection (3).

Carefully unlatch lower catch hooks (4) from housing (1) using   clip remover.

When replacing REAR heating/air conditioning system operating unit switch (S98/2).

Carefully lift up upper catch hooks (5) using the   clip remover, and remove REAR heating/air conditioning system operating unit switch (S98/2) from housing (1).

When replacing REAR heating/air conditioning system operating unit switch (S98/2).

Insert REAR heating/air conditioning system operating unit switch (S98/2) into housing (1), until the upper catch hooks (5) and the lower catch hooks (4) latch into place.

When replacing REAR heating/air conditioning system operating unit switch (S98/2).

Check the catch hooks (2) are correctly seated in the guides on the housing (1).

If a catch hook (2) is not correctly seated in the guides on the housing (1).



Position catch hook (2) correctly into guides on housing (1).

Connect electrical connector (3).

Hook housing (1) at front into roof lining and press at rear into roof lining until the catch hooks (2) latch into place in the roof lining.
