Remove/install

Empty refrigerant circuit.

Remove nut (2).

 Nut, refrigerant line to expansion valve for high-voltage battery

Remove refrigerant line (1) from high-voltage battery cooling expansion valve.



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 Plug openings.

 Installation: Install new sealing ring (6) and coat with compressor oil.

Remove bolt (3) .

 Bolt, refrigerant line to refrigerant compressor

Remove refrigerant line (1) from refrigerant compressor.



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 Plug openings.

 Installation: Install new sealing ring (6) and coat with compressor oil.

 Record plug

Unscrew bolt (4).


When releasing and tightening the bolt (4) counterhold the connecting flange (5).
Damage can otherwise occur.

Detach refrigerant line (1) from connecting flange (5) and remove from engine compartment.



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

Remove and insert the refrigerant line (1) carefully.
Otherwise, the refrigerant line (1) or adjacent component parts may be damaged.

 Plug openings.

 Installation: Install new sealing ring (6) and coat with compressor oil.

 Record plug
