Remove/install

Drain refrigerant circuit.

Remove bolt (3) .

 Installation: Align holder and secure with screw (3).

Remove nut (4).

 Nut, refrigerant line to shutoff valve for refrigerant circuit in vehicle interior

Remove nut from connecting point to refrigerant line (8) of rear air conditioning system.

When loosening and tightening nut, counterhold refrigerant line (1) at connecting point using a suitable tool.
Damage can otherwise occur.

Detach refrigerant line (1) from vehicle interior refrigerant circuit shutoff valve (5).

 Installation: Replace sealing ring (7) and coat with compressor oil.

Detach refrigerant line (1) from vehicle interior refrigerant circuit shutoff valve (5) and from refrigerant line (8) of rear air conditioning system.

Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 Plug openings.

 Installation: Replace sealing ring (7) and sealing ring to connecting point on refrigerant line (8) of rear air conditioning system, and coat with compressor oil.

Remove nut (6).


When loosening and tightening nut (6), counterhold refrigerant line (1) at connecting point to refrigerant line (2) using a suitable tool.
Damage can otherwise occur.
