Remove/install

Empty refrigerant circuit.

Model 447 with engine 780.701 except code HX1 (Refrigerant R-1234yf)

Remove air/water duct.

Remove nut (3).

 Installation: Align holder and tighten with nut (3).

Unscrew bolt (4).

 Installation: Align holder and tighten with bolt (4).

Remove screw (6).


When releasing and tightening bolt (6), counterhold refrigerant line (1) in area of cable flange using a suitable tool.
Otherwise the refrigerant lines (1, 2) can be damaged.

Remove refrigerant line (1) from refrigerant line (2).



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 Plug openings.

 Installation: Replace sealing ring and coat with compressor oil.

 Record plug

Remove nut (5).

 Nut, refrigerant line to expansion valve

Remove refrigerant line (1) in area of firewall from expansion valve.



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 Plug openings.

 Installation: Replace sealing rings (8) and coat with compressor oil.

 Record plug

Remove nut (7).

 Nut, refrigerant line to shutoff valve for refrigerant circuit in vehicle interior

Remove refrigerant line (1).



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 To do so, remove refrigerant line (1) from vehicle interior refrigerant circuit shutoff valve (9).
Plug openings.

 Installation: Replace sealing ring (10) and coat with compressor oil.

 Record plug
