Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Unclip trim element (6).

Remove bolts_(7).

Unclip trim element (2) until the electrical connectors are accessible.


Release trim element (2) uniformly from instrument panel.
In order to prevent damage.


Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.

 Installation: Make sure that the retaining clips (4) are seated correctly.

 Make sure that no retaining tab (3) is damaged.
The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors.

 The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.

Remove trim piece (2) and place on a suitable surface.

Remove bolts (5).

Remove air vents (1) from trim piece (2).

 Installation: Note direction of installation.

Install in the reverse order.
