Remove/install actuator motor for left footwell flap

Remove/install

Adjust steering wheel all the way backward and downward to end position

Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit

 On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go, press the Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off.

Remove the Keyless Go transmitter card or transmitter key from the vehicle and store beyond the reach of the transmitter

(min. 2 m).

Release instrument cluster (A1), remove from instrument panel and set aside with electrical lines still connected

 Cover instrument panel in working area using a suitable protective cover to prevent damage by scratching.

Remove left footwell flap actuator motor (M16/15) from AC housing

 Installation: Check condition of adjusting mechanism. If damaged, replace with corresponding part from kinematics parts kit.



Disconnect electrical connector from left footwell flap actuator motor (M16/15) and remove left footwell flap actuator motor (M16/15)

Install in the reverse order

Read out fault memory, delete if necessary and normalize left footwell flap actuator motor (M16/15)



Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
