Remove/Install

Remove instrument panel

Remove screws (2)

Disconnect electrical connectors from AC housing cover (1)

Remove AC housing cover (1)

Remove left defroster vent flap actuator motor (M16/13) from A/C housing cover (1)

Installation: Check condition of adjusting mechanism. If damage is found, obtain appropriate part from kinematics parts kit.

Install in the reverse order

Synchronize actuator motors

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory

Read out fault memory and erase

Stored faults which may be caused by removal, test work, removed lines or a simulation, must be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work.
