1 | Remove front floor covering | ||
2 | Remove right sound converter box | ||
3 | Remove electronic accelerator pedal | ||
4 | Remove cable ties (2) at horizontal strut (3) | ||
5 | Remove bolts (4) at crossmember (5) | ||
6 | Remove nuts (6) from firewall and remove horizontal strut (3) | ||
7 | Remove passenger-side footrest (7) | ||
8 | Detach recirculated air cable (8) from air recirculation unit (1) | Installation: Insert recirculated air cable (8) into catch (11) and attach to lever (12). Adjust recirculated air cable (8): | |
Detach recirculated air cable (8) out of catch (11) on lever (12) on air recirculation unit (1). Press heater/ventilation control unit lever all the way up and hold. Press lever (12) on air recirculation unit (1) all the way to the left and lock recirculated air cable (8) cover. | |||
9 | Remove nut (9) at top of firewall | ||
10 | Remove nuts (10) from bottom of firewall and remove air recirculation unit (1) | ||
11 | Install in the reverse order | ||
12 | Carry out function test |
