1 | Remove screws (2) and remove hood (3) from roof ventilator (1). | ||
2 | Unscrew nuts (4). | A helper is required to counterhold the screws (6) in the load compartment. | |

3 | Detach electrical connector (7). | ||
4 | Expose electrical wiring harness (8). | Installation: Replace the felt strips for fastening the electrical wiring harness (8) if necessary. | |

5 | Unpin electrical wiring harness from connector housing (9). | Wiring harness repair kit, basic | |

6 | Remove sealing compound from cable duct (arrow A) in area of electrical wiring harness (8). | Installation: | |
White sealing compound, 310 ml, DBL 6069.20 | |||
7 | Pass electrical wiring harness (8) through roof paneling. | ||
8 | Remove roof ventilator (1) from roof paneling upwards. | Installation: Make sure that the seal (5) on the roof ventilator (1) is seated correctly. | |
9 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

10 | Perform function test of roof ventilator (1). |
