Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Release front passenger seat and tilt backward with connected electric lines.

Unclip electrical wiring harness (arrow A).

Clip remover

Remove expansion rivets (2).

Remove cover (3).

Disconnect electrical connection (4).

Unscrew nuts (5).

Remove emergency call system auxiliary battery (1).

Install in the reverse order.

Check

Check emergency call system for operational readiness using vehicle diagnosis system.
