2 | Print out the "Protokoll Tanksystem, Formular" (tank system event log form), fill it out, and attach to the vehicle in a place where it is easily visible. | ||

3 | Perform commissioning of HERMES control unit (N112/9). | When replacing the HERMES control unit (N112/9). | |

4 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
5 | Release head unit (A26/17) and remove with connected electric lines until the HERMES control unit (N112/9) is accessible. | ||
6 | Unclip HERMES control unit (N112/9) at control unit bracket (2). | ||
7 | Disconnect electrical connector (3, 4, 5). | The number of electrical connectors (4, 5) can vary depending on equipment installed. | |
8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
9 | Connect diagnostic device, read out fault memory, and delete if necessary. | ||
