Removal, installation

Connect quiescent current retention unit

Disconnect ground lead from battery

Remove paneling below right rear seat

Disconnect connection leads and antenna leads from CTEL transmitter/receiver (A35)

Unscrew nuts (5)

Carefully lift mount (4) with control module

Disconnect connection lead and D2B connection lead from emergency call control module (A35/8)

Do not kink or stretch fiber optic cable D2B

Install caps on fiber optic cable connector and module connection

Unscrew emergency call control module (A35/8) from mount (1) with 4 screws (6) and pull out

Install in opposite order
