Notes on carrying out repair work in the vehicle interior

Remove/install

Remove interior lamp

Remove both stowage box/trays above windshield

Remove cable ties (4, 5) and expose electrical wiring harness of emergency call system additional battery (1)

Installation: Pay attention to correct routing. Install new cable ties (4, 5).

Disconnect electrical connector of emergency call system additional battery (1)

Detach emergency call system additional battery (1) with cable tie (3) at crossmember (2) and remove it

6

Install in the reverse order
