Remove/install

Adjust driver's seat as far forward and upward as possible

2

Connect diagnostic device, read out and temporarily store basic data of TV tuner control unit (N162)

When replacing the TV tuner control unit (N162).



 Installation: Transfer temporarily-stored basic data to new TV tuner control unit (N162) and commission TV tuner control unit (N162).

Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key

Remove top cover (1) at seat base of driver's seat

Remove rear cover (2) at seat base of driver's seat

Detach electrical connectors (3)

Remove screw/bolts (4)

Detach retaining clip (5) of subharness from threaded pin

Unscrew nuts (6)

 The nuts (6) are accessible through the top opening in the seat base of the driver's seat.

Tilt holder (7) forward and remove TV tuner control unit (N162) upward

 Installation:
Do not clamp subharnesses.
Otherwise, the subharnesses will be damaged.

Unscrew screw/bolts (8) and remove bracket (9)

When replacing the TV tuner control unit (N162).

Install in the reverse order



Carry out function check of TV tuner control unit (N162)
