Unclip covers (1, 2) in forward direction from rotary switches

Unscrew screws (3) on left and right of COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3) and remove holder (4)

5

Unscrew screws (5) and remove COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3) toward rear from center console

Secure COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3) to prevent it from falling down.

Install in the reverse order
